2.2 Analytics (consent required)

Help us understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. Opt in or out via the cookie banner.

  • ph_* (PostHog) — Anonymized product analytics — PostHog (EU Cloud) — 1 year

PostHog runs on EU servers. We do not use it for advertising or third-party data sharing.

2.3 Third-party via OAuth

If you log in with Google, Google may set cookies on its own domain (not on refine.coach). Governed by Google's privacy policy.

  • Cross-site tracking cookies

4. How to manage cookies

4.1 Via Refine Chess

  • First visit: choose "Accept all" or "Essentials only" in the cookie banner
  • Change later: click "Manage cookies" in the footer to reset your choice

4.2 Via your browser

You can also disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will prevent login.

  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy
